When Tomorrow Starts Without Me...

Some days ago, I read a post on my sister's blog about Flight Lieutenant Divya Bansal. That was really a heart touching article. The article beautifully portrays the pain, the valor and ultimate sacrificing nature of a woman. I thought about the courage of Divya Bansal and then I thought of her husband Squadron Leader Gaurav Varma. People who are alive can express their emotions and feelings or sometime can also hide their sentiments. But what about the one who are dead....
I just happen to found one song, which defined the sentiments of many soldiers like Late Gaurav Varma, for their loved ones. Read the whole song once, you will understand that the feelings of the people who left us.
When Tomorrow Starts Without Me...
***********************************
When Tomorrow Starts Without Me, And I’m Not There To See,
If The Sun Should Rise And Find Your Eyes, All Filled With Tears For Me,

I Wish So Much You Wouldn’t Cry, The Way You Did Today,
While Thinking Of The Many Things We Didn’t Get To Say.

I Know How Much You Love Me, As Much As I Love You,
And Each Time That You Think Of Me, I Know You’ll Miss Me Too.

But When Tomorrow Starts Without Me, Please Try To Understand,
That An Angel Came And Called My Name And Took Me By The Hand.

And Said My Place Was Ready In Heaven Far Above,
And That I’d Have To Leave Behind, All Those Things I Dearly Love.

But As I Turned To Walk Away, A Tear Fell From My Eye,
For All My Life, I’d Always Thought, I Didn’t Want To Die.

I Had So Much To Live For, So Much Yet To Do,
It Seemed Almost Impossible, That I Was Leaving You.

I Thought Of All The Yesterdays, The Good Ones And The Bad,
I Thought Of All The Love We Shared, And All The Fun We Had.

If I Could Relive Yesterday, Just Even For A While,
I’d Say Goodbye And Kiss You, And Maybe See You Smile.

But Then I Fully Realized, That Could Never Be,
For Emptiness And Memories, Would Take The Place Of Me.

And When I Thought Of Worldly Things, I Might Miss Come Tomorrow,
I Thought Of You, And When I Did, My Heart Was Filled With Sorrow.

But When I Walked Through Heaven’s Gates, I Felt So Much At Home.
When God Looked Down And Smiled At Me, From His Great Golden Throne.

He Said, “This Is Eternity, And All I’ve Promised You.
Today Your Life On Earth Is Past, And Here It Starts Anew”.

“I Promise No Tomorrow, But Today Will Always Last,
And Since Each Day’s The Same Day, There’s No Longing For The Past”.

“But You Have Been So Faithful, So Trusting And So True,
Though There Were Times You Did Some Things, You Know You Shouldn’t Do”.

“But You Have Been Forgiven, And Now At Last You’re Free,
So Won’t You Take My Hand Now And Share My Life With Me”.

So When Tomorrow Starts Without Me, Don’t Think We’re Far Apart,
For Every Time You Think Of Me, I’m Right Here In Your Heart
- Dedicated to all of us...

Bihar – No more a Follower

During Feb 11-13, 3rd Bihar Science Conference was organised by Bihar Brain Scholastic Center which was hosted by Magadh University at Gaya College, Gaya. Luckily, I happened to submt my abstract under the Theme: Electronics and Information Technology and was selected. The following abstract was published in the Conference.
Bihar - No More a Follower
The technology advancement in Bihar isn’t very far behind the other states. Today our govt. is working hard on those cheap and simple technologies that are ignored by the giant IT leaders of India. Today Mobile has become an essential part of our life and almost everyone knows how to handle a mobile for making calls along with sending and receiving SMSs. Nobody knew that sending and receiving a text message can be helpful in such a large scale. Govt. of Bihar has always been keen towards the overall growth of the state through the innovative use of low cost technology. Its support and enthusiasm for same is extremely appreciable. The Govt. of Bihar has officially introduced SMS Based Monitoring System to collect Block wise development report through a simple text SMS.
The block level officers of different schemes viz. NREGS, Pension, Dress/Bicycle, scholarship, road/bridges, ICDS, health, food, Indira Awas, and mutation send their daily progress report through a simple text SMS. Every scheme is given a particular code and every report a particular format. The SMSs are sent to a centralized SMS server where it is decoded and different types of reports and Graphs are generated on its basis. “Just because that these SMSs are to be sent everyday, the efficiency of the blocks has been surprisingly increased”, as quoted by a District Magistrate. The reports are published on internet for the public to bring transparency in the system. Thus people can know how much dresses & bicycles were distributed in their blocks and the numbers of schemes currently being carried out by NREGA. Blocks are the smallest unit of Govt. to receive report from them has been very time consuming job in addition to it, the reliability percentage of the reports were ironically very low.
With the advent of this system, the Govt. is receiving quick information the existing system isn’t Stopped but the new technology will be used so an additional support system. Getting reports through SMSs is also eco-friendly as it reduces lots of paper work. This system may be used by other states in future. In simple words of the Chief Minister of Bihar- “what Bihar does today, the entire country follows tomorrow”. What a Splendid idea!
